Cracking Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Quinoa Crack
  • ½ Cup rolled oats
  • 30 almonds, chopped
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 4 dried figs
    1. Preheat your oven to 180C
    2. In a food processor, add the figs and pulse until you get a smooth mixture.
    3. Add all other ingredients in a bowl mix and combine the fig mixture. Blend thoroughly.
    4. In a 7-inch cake tin, press the mixture down and make it firm and hard.
    5. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes to golden brown.
    6. Allow to cool down completely before you cut them into desired shapes.
